Pypes vs Artisan · AI SDR product

The Artisan alternative for founders who want to own the system.

Artisan sells Ava — an “AI employee” that drafts and sends outbound at scale. It's a product you subscribe to. When you cancel, the sending stops and you have nothing to show for it: no data pipeline, no scored list, no content operations, no institutional knowledge.

Pypes is a GTM engineering consultancy. We build the same distribution surface — prospecting, outbound, content ops, lead scoring, sender infrastructure — in your stack, in your CRM, on your domains. You keep the system, the data, and the playbook after we're done.

The pattern

Why founders switch.

The common founder story with AI SDR products: pilot for 60 days, book a handful of low-quality meetings, watch reply rates collapse as domain reputation degrades, cancel, and start over from scratch. Nothing compounds. Every retention decision is a coin flip on next month's spend.

Common questions

About Pypes vs Artisan.

Is Pypes a direct replacement for Artisan?

Directionally, yes — both address the founder-led-sales-doesn't-scale problem. Structurally, no: Artisan is a product you rent, Pypes is a build you own. You use Pypes once to build the system, then it runs without further payments to us.

What happens to my sending domains?

You own them from day one. We register or configure them under your organization, warm them on your behalf, and monitor sender health throughout the build. If you ever leave Pypes, you keep the domains, the reputation, and the sending stack.

Do I need to be technical to work with Pypes?

No. Founder-led doesn't mean engineer-led — most of our founders are commercial. We handle the engineering side; you make the ICP + positioning calls that only you can make.

Can I bring Pypes in AFTER trying Artisan?

Yes, and it's a common story. Part of the Growth Assessment is auditing what you've already tried, what worked, and what to keep from prior tooling.

Ready to own your outbound system instead of renting it?

A 30-minute discovery call. No slideware, no salespeople — just the engineer who's built this before, for himself and other founders.
